About the book

What would happen if the fairies of yesterday's fables tried to meddle with today's world?

Find out as you follow a failed popstar, a grieving conspiracy theorist, an awkward bachelor, an aspiring hero, an ambitious fashionista, and a runaway teen as they encounter supernatural beings, secret societies, magical powers, and even death herself in a magical allegory about our modern world.

About the author

I am a Queer, Disabled creative who, with the help of my AuDHD, has spent nearly my entire life creating in some form or another. When not writing, I spend my creative time making sculptures, jewelry, and taking photographs of nature.

In my formative years, I led a double life, having been raised part-time in an ultra-conservative American household that relied on cult tactics for control. In the secret half of my life, I found myself exploring the Queer and Punk scenes, both of which would come to deeply impact my perspectives, as well as help to free me from the homelife abuse and indoctrination. As an adult, I found myself consumed by a deep interest in the humanities and social sciences, including the studies of politics, religion, psychology, folklore, and cults, which will likely come as no surprise given my unique life experiences. This distinctive experience has made a major impact on my way of storytelling, particularly in Persedonia, where I seek to explore what exactly it means to be human, and how society and its expectations intersect with one’s lived experience.

I now live a much happier life in Germany with my husband, who I met thanks to the incredible networking power of being in the online trans community, and occasionally in Norway, when I am spending time with my other life partner and their two cats.
